Northway Academy, a partner of Sevita, is a day program offering daily applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for children with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related conditions.

- Full-time or Part-time, M-F day schedules. No evenings or weekend shifts!

THRIVE AS A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN AT NORTHWAY ACADEMY. EACH DAY, YOU’LL:

- Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills
- Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise and nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness
- Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as: hygiene, grooming and/or toileting
- Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities
- Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO NORTHWAY ACADEMY:
- EXPERIENCE: must meet qualifications required by the State of Minnesota; continued education in related field, at least 2 years' of full time PAID clinically supervised experience, etc. (can include CNA, PCA, para-professional, nursing home, direct care, and/or autism experience).
- EDUCATION: possess a High School diploma or equivalent
- SKILLS: a compassionate approach with a reliable and responsible attitude and an ability to connect with children while working with others to accomplish goals
- BEHAVIORS: patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
