What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Change Management Internship position at Northwell Careers?
Performs administrative staff work in support of research and review projects focusing on Hospital policies and procedures and department operations. We are a centralized team focused on delivering change management to enterprise-wide projects and initiatives, like the Epic EHR implementation. We also hold training sessions and enable individuals across the organization to be more effective at leading their teams through change.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department.
- Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures.
- Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures.
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Currently enrolled in college majoring in Business, Healthcare Management, I/O Psychology or a related field, required. Undergrad Junior, Undergrad Senior or graduate level
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting, preferred.

Hybrid position - Full-time
