Job Description
Manages the day-to-day activities of Learning and Organizational Development programs. Manages and identifies training solutions for all employees and creates training initiatives.
Job Responsibility
- Provides leadership to Learning and Organizational Development team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
- Tracks budgets, negotiate contracts, build and maintain relationships with third-party training providers.
- Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
- Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely fashion.
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the education programs for a particular department.
- Ensures that the learning management systems and content providers are identified and configured.
- Collaborates with third party vendors to support, configure and manage systems.
- Designs training and skill development programs that are aligned with the health system’s objectives; collaborate with various business units and leaders to define specific training requirements.
- Assesses the success of the development plans and modify where necessary; acts as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.
