Hospitalist Fellowship OBYGN (Non-ACGME)

The Northwell Health Hospitalist Fellowship Program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a one-year, non-ACGME training program that is geared toward OB-GYNs who are interested in leadership roles in hospitalist medicine.

The fellowship program provides advanced education in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology, focused on maximizing patient safety.

This program offers strong clinical, surgical, and healthcare systems training in both academic and community hospital settings. High-quality training is provided by experienced OB-GYN hospitalists, maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, family planning, and anesthesiology faculty. Fellows are also exposed to national leaders in the specialty at the annual Society of OB-GYN Hospitalists meeting, where they can present research projects.

Minimum Requirements :

• Applicants must have completed an accredited four-year residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Graduates of foreign medical schools must have a standard ECFMG certificate and completed postgraduate training in the United States.
• Fellows must be board eligible or board certified.
• A New York State medical license is required.
