Northwell Health’s Medicine Service Line and Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine are seeking a physician to join our Supportive Oncology Program at LIJ Medical Center and Zuckerberg Cancer Center in Lake Success, NY . This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized division. The ideal candidate should be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine, or both Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Medicine . Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers, provide high quality clinical care to older adults and those with serious and advanced illness.
Zuckerberg Cancer Center is located at the Center for Advanced Medicine , a nationally recognized cancer care facility offering state-of-the-art technology, leading-edge clinical trials, and a full range of support programs. Our team is composed of a large, dynamic, and diverse group of clinicians, educators, and researchers from multiple professions eager to take on the challenge of patient centered longitudinal, and comprehensive cancer care services. Our center is a unique facility that provides exceptional care for virtually every type of cancer with a wide range of coordinated treatments, including Ambulatory hematology, Leading-edge chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Hormone therapy, and Targeted therapy. Patients are offered clinical trials as the standard of our care.
