DESCRIPTION
Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services for children and adolescent clients in a mental health center's outpatient setting. Participate in the implementation, evaluation, and modification of the client's service plan. Administer the client's medication program as prescribed based on center policies and procedures. Assist in the monitoring of vital signs, blood sugar monitoring, and other lab results. Assist with admissions and discharges. Complete the appropriate documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Provide family support and education. Provide for client and staff safety. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Requirements:
- Must possess a current/valid LPN nursing license in the State of Alabama.
- Will accept a new graduate. Experience is preferred but not required.
- Current/valid non-expired driver's license.
- Social security card
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and use of computer software and programs, such as the ability to demonstrate computer skills in Word processing, Excel, Outlook, and typing 40 wpm.
- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Schedule: Full Time: Monday, 7AM-5:30PM; Tuesday-Thursday, 8AM-5:00PM; Friday, 8AM-3:30PM (1-hour lunch break)
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: 1105 7th Ave., Jasper, AL 35501
