DESCRIPTION
Mental Health Techs are responsible for providing care and services, including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, personal care, medication administration, and other duties as assigned. You must have the ability to accurately and timely document activities and logbooks, and transport individuals (with an approved driving record). This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Schedule: Multiple part-time and full-time shift schedules are available. This will be discussed further during the interview.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma/GED (or transcripts) from a state-accredited school/source.
- A current/valid non-expired driver's license or state-issued ID card.
- The minimum age for employment is 18. If the position requires driving, you must be at least 21, and have an insurable driving record.
- Social security card
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge and use of computer software and programs, such as Word processing and Outlook.
- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
