The COX Welcome Desk & Student Information Center Attendant serves as a key point of contact for prospective and current students and guests. This position provides customer service and assists with student resources at both the COX Welcome Desk and the Student Information Center, depending on scheduling needs. Responsibilities include helping guests navigate campus, issuing student IDs and parking passes, and maintaining and supporting Student Life resources. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency / institutional policy.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with campus navigation, offering accurate directions to all NWACC buildings and locations.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Student Services resources to guide students effectively.
- Stay informed about campus events and resources to provide up-to-date information to students, faculty, and visitors.
- Assist the Office of Student Life in managing and maintaining the NWACC Food Pantry.
- Create and distribute student IDs and parking passes.
- Maintain the game room and recreation equipment (including waivers and information).
- Performs other duties related to the position as required or directed
Rate of Pay $14.00 per hour
