Job Description
Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients after surgical operations in a hospital setting? Do you have an interest in evaluating assigned patients and plans and implementing and documenting nursing care? If so, consider joining our team as an Infection Control Coordinator.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Monitors and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control.
Reviews sterilization and disinfection techniques and recommends changes as needed.
Provides related education to staff.
Prepares simple cultures as needed for environmental and individual studies.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Associates degree in nursing.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience required.
- Licensure as a registered nurse.
