Job Summary
Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center (NAAC) is looking for a clinical Supervisor to be a crucial member of the clinical team, provide support and guidance to medical assistants and act as the primary point of contact for clinical triage. This position is designed to ensure smooth clinical operations by handling triage and assisting with clinical workflows, without the direct management of staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary contact for triage, ensuring that patient cases are handled efficiently and escalated as necessary.
- Provide clinical advice and guidance to medical assistants, ensuring they have the support needed for patient care.
- Act as a resource for medical assistants and LPNs, offering clinical guidance and support on complex cases.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new medical assistants, ensuring they are familiar with clinical protocols and procedures.
- Provide coverage for clinical staff during unexpected call-outs, ensuring minimal disruption to clinic operations.
- Handle scheduling duties as needed and assist with assignments to ensure proper clinical staff coverage.
- Monitor clinical workflows and procedures to ensure they are being followed correctly.
- Work closely with the Management team to identify areas for improvement in patient care and clinical efficiency.
- Assist in the hiring, training and orientation of new clinical staff.
- Collaborate with the clinical management team to ensure that all clinical operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Communicate with providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field
- Current and valid RN license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to provide guidance and support to medical assistants.
- Ability to handle clinical triage and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to cover shifts and take on scheduling responsibilities as needed.
