What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Banking Assistant position at Northwest Bank?
Responsibilities - include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate, track and review loan files and related documentation to ensure complete and accurate information.
- Gather and ensure required documents needed for loan closing are prepared and complete.
- Monitor and maintain the suspense/tickler.
- Provide loan support, as needed.
- Assists with preparation of loan documents, as requested.
- Serve as a backup for other position(s) and perform other duties, as assigned.
- Enhance career through work experience and continuing education.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Above average verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Education
Associates degree (A. A.) required; three to five years of previous experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
