Northwest Battle Buddies is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering Veterans with PTSD by partnering them with professionally trained service dogs, at no cost to the Veteran. Our team is dedicated, mission-driven, and focused on operational excellence in every area of support we provide.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time Office Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative functions of our organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about contributing to meaningful work.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails professionally
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Prepare and organize documents and files
- Support donor correspondence and mailings
- Help with event prep and logistics as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized office space
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior office experience preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Schedule:
- Part-time (approximately 20 hours/week)
- Flexible scheduling within business hours (Monday–Friday)
