Description
Scope: To work with the Student Ministry team to encourage students and leaders in their faith.
Ministry/Dept.: Family Ministry
Supervisor: Student Minister
Employee Type: Part Time
Schedule: May - August; Variable hours
Environment: Office/ Outdoors
Responsibilities:
- Help execute Student ministry on Sundays.
- Plan, execute, and lead various ministry programs during the summer.
- Attend summer camp and other Family Ministry activities.
- Attend and assist with student mission trips.
- Accept opportunities to teach in student ministry, lead devotions during team meetings, and meet with Pastoral staff.
- Meet with ministry leaders to gain feedback and grow in ministry skills.
- Attend weekly team meetings to learn team dynamics and the workings of the Family team.
- Perform other duties determined by Family Team Leadership.
Qualifications
Requirements:
As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.
