What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Organizer (Junior or Lead Level) position at Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition (NWBCCC)?
About the Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition
The NWBCCC is a 50-year old grassroots member-led organization that unites individuals and institutions for racial justice and economic democracy through intergenerational organizing to transform the Bronx and beyond. We organize around health, housing, education, environmental justice, community and economic development and other issues impacting our communities.
Sistas & Brothas United (SBU), the youth organizing arm of the Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition (NWBCCC), was founded 26 years ago to develop the leadership of young people and address issues impacting their lives through the lens of racial and economic justice. We are seeking a passionate and committed Youth Organizer, with the level (Junior or Lead) to be determined based on experience. The selected candidate will focus on base-building, leadership development, and organizing youth-led campaigns to advance educational justice and other issue areas aligned with NWBCCC’s mission.
