Job Summary
Northwest Career College is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician Instructor who must have at least three years of work experience in a pharmacy setting as a licensed Pharmacy Technician or pharmacist.
Roles and Responsibilities
Teach pharmacy technician courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus and as directed by the program supervisor.
Assist students with difficult concepts in tutoring sessions.
Grade student lab activities and practical examinations.
Maintain a daily record of student attendance.
Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College
Dress professionally in accordance with faculty dress code
Communicate effectively with diverse populations, both verbally and in writing
Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and job-related duties as assigned.
Experience
REQUIRED : 3 years of non-overlapping experience in the pharmacy field
REQUIRED : 1 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
License / Certification
REQUIRED : Current Pharmaceutical Technician License, Intern Pharmacist License, or Pharmacist License.
