As our Banana Program Manager, you’ll oversee operations across multiple U.S. locations, driving strategic growth while delivering consistent 5-star customer experiences. Location: Seattle and Bellevue, WA
Hours: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 am – 6:00 pm with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Starting Salary Range: $86,986 - $99,278 per year | Full Salary Range: $86,985 - $111,571 per year

Operational Excellence
- Lead daily operations and logistics for banana stands across multiple U.S. locations.
- Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, vendors, and community partners.
- Partner with the Senior Program Manager Support budget planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Assist in development of business proposals and contracts for new opportunities.
- Monitor KPIs, ensure quality control, and develop dashboards, SOPs and playbooks.
- Identify operational challenges and implement strategic solutions.
- Manage inventory systems and supply chains.
- Create and deliver training programs for staff and stakeholders.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the Banana Program.
Customer Experience & Community Engagement
- Drive community events and engagement in collaboration with partners and internal teams.
- Innovate ways to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Support program expansion efforts.
- Handle escalations professionally, coordinating with key stakeholders as needed.
People Leadership
- Build, lead, and coach high-performing, geographically dispersed teams in addition to regularly meeting with employees as well as creating individualized goals and training plans.
- Oversee employee development, goal-setting, and performance management.
- Partner with HR on hiring, training, and staffing decisions.
- Contribute to a positive work environment that encourages retention and talent.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
What You Are
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of people management in client facing role and/or operations of high performing programs with direct supervision of staff.
- Frequent travel between locations across the regions including the Puget Sound area, TN, TX with possibility for more areas in the future.
- Proven track record of scaling programs across different markets.
- Experience in community engagement and public facing programs.
- Moderate computer skills in Microsoft Office, Advanced skills preferred.
- Moderate computer skills in Wiki content creation and publishing.
- Ability to work across AMER locations and build relationships with other vendors, points of contact, etc.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Must be able to frequently carry and lift a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies, up to 50 pounds.
- Will need to carry supplies to other buildings.
- Frequent travel between locations across the region including ATX, TN and Puget Sound.
- Must be able to handle bananas and/or various food products without allergic reaction.
- Encompasses a combination of desk work and actively visiting several Amazon buildings so the ability to walk consistently within a 1.5-mile radius is required.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to see both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses).
- Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional changes in schedule according to operational needs.
- Variable working hours between 7am-6pm. Occasional earlier or later start times, nights and weekends may arise.
