Here’s what you’ll be doing when you work with us:

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Promote credit union products and services based on member needs that transpire from member interviews.
• Open new share accounts and certificates and process new account information including verifying eligibility and identity, ordering checks, checking for appropriate signatures, filing forms, mailing welcome letters, etc.
• Assist members with requests such as account maintenance and changes, wire transfers, closing accounts, skip-a-pay, discrepancy research and complaints.
• Provide backup to the teller staff.
• Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Eligible candidates MUST have:

• Full bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• At least one (1) year of experience in a financial institution processing transactions and opening new accounts.

We welcome candidates with a range of experience, but our ideal candidate will also have:

• Experience assisting members with loan applications.
• Ability to process, close, and disburse loans.
• Comfort with computer systems and web-based applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to working on additional tasks to support the team.

Bonus points awarded if you have the following:

• Experience with core data systems
• Experience with digital banking support

This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package. This job is located at our main office in Nampa, Idaho. This job is not eligible for telework/telecommuting. The NCCU teams works in a business casual office environment. Salary is dependent on experience.
