Position Overview:
Northwest Church is seeking a Creative Coordinator to oversee and execute all creative aspects of church communications, including graphic design, website management, social media, video production, and editing. This position will play a key role in enhancing the church’s visual identity and digital presence, ensuring all creative content aligns with Northwest Church’s standards and culture.
Responsibilities: Content Creation & Media Production
- Design and produce graphics, videos, and photos for social media, special events, ministries, and multiple campuses.
- Oversee the creation of printed materials, such as GrowTrack books, invite cards, and promotional flyers.
- Maintain an organized library of graphic and video assets.
- Produce pre-roll videos, transition videos, and special sermon content.
- Create promotional materials and branding for special events.
Photography & Videography
- Recruit and develop a serve team for photography and videography to capture content for weekend services and events.
- Manage all aspects of photography and video production, including lighting, camera work, and post-production editing.
- Ensure high-quality and engaging content is produced to support church initiatives.
Social Media & Digital Communications
- Manage and maintain all social media platforms, including but not limited to:
- Facebook & Facebook Messenger
- YouTube
- Website
- Develop and implement promotion plans for events, ministries, and church-wide initiatives.
- Monitor social media engagement and optimize content for outreach and engagement.
Website Management
- Develop and maintain the church website, ensuring all information is current and aligned with branding.
- Oversee website structure, navigation, and user experience improvements.
- Ensure that sermon series, events, and ministries are effectively represented online.
Equipment & Software Management
- Maintain and organize all camera and lighting equipment.
- Ensure all creative assets are properly stored and backed up.
- Use and train others in key software programs, including but not limited to:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, etc.)
- Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)
- Website Management Platforms (Subsplash or other CMS platforms)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media Production, Communications, or related field OR relevant work experience preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing graphic design and video editing capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience leading team.
- Understanding of church culture, branding, and storytelling.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
