Description
Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time Operations Assistant. The person in this role will work alongside the other members of the Operations team to complete critical tasks in multiple departments, including Reception, Facilities, Health, Nutrition, IT, and the Resource Room. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and a strong multitasker. Adaptability and flexibility are necessary character traits of the role. The Operations Assistant reports to the Director of Operations on NCA’s Kennesaw campus. This is a current vacancy and the position will start immediately.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage the substitute teacher pool and fill vacancies as needed on a daily basis
- Lead all duties and relationships related to carline, transportation, and events
- Ensure Master, Website, Substitute Availability, and Out of Office calendars are up-to-date at all times
- Serve as primary backup to school Receptionist while also providing role support and backup for Operations team members as needed
- Submit purchase orders and execute vendor orders for the Operations department
- Serve as a member of the School Safety Team with drill-specific responsibilities
- Complete task & project-based duties as delegated by the Director of Operations
- Provide summer office coverage
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college is required.
- Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
