**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Group Facilitator to join our team at Northwest Counseling and Guidance Clinic. As a Mental Health Group Facilitator, you will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and documenting mental health groups that promote healing and growth among our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counseling Sessions: Plan, conduct, document, and develop group counseling sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Modifying Groups: Modify mental health groups to suit the age and developmental requirements of our clientele, ensuring effective engagement and support.
- Treatment Team Collaboration: Participate actively in clinical staffings and contribute as a valued member of our treatment team, providing high-quality service delivery to our clients.
- Client Understanding: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of mental health concepts, psychotropic medications, and client symptomology to inform your practice and ensure effective implementation of individualized treatment plans.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience or relevant formal education in working with youth experiencing severe emotional disturbance or mental illness.
- A Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree is preferred.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written formats.
- Demonstrated ability to receive and implement feedback, think critically, and adapt to new situations.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, utilizing technology to facilitate documentation and communication.
Compensation and Benefits:
