Job Title: Mobile Crisis Worker
Description:
This is a part-time, on-call position in Marquette County, WI. The role offers flexible scheduling and provides supplemental income for Mental Health Professionals. We are seeking individuals with a desire to support those experiencing a mental health crisis.
Crisis Workers provide on-site risk assessments when face-to-face evaluations are deemed necessary. They work collaboratively to assess mental health crises and coordinate the required level of intervention. Crisis Workers operate under WI statute and Administrative Code (specifically DHS 34 and Chapter 51).
Primary Responsibilities:
Respond to designated secure locations within Marquette County, WI, to assess individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Conduct comprehensive mental health and suicide risk assessments and assist in developing least restrictive plans.
Work Arrangement:
Home-based/On-call. General response expectation is 30-45 minutes to most locations within the county, including Oxford, Westfield, and Montello, WI.
Compensation:
$40.00/8-hour on-call shift (whether or not responding), $27.50/hour for assessment time/travel/documentation, $0.655/mileage reimbursement, and $16.00/hour training pay.
