Northwest Dental Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our dental office. Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling to optimize office workflow.
- Review and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Conduct insurance verification processes to ensure coverage for services rendered and billing inquiries as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient accounts by updating ledgers, processing charges, and handling weekly payments.
- Assist with file management and documentation review to uphold compliance with office policies.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff regarding treatment plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient patient care and ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical documentation practices is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective file management.
- Ability to perform insurance verification processes accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
