Day Shift -Monday through Friday

Northwest Distribution & Storage has been the foremost wine storage facility in the Pacific Northwest since 1994. We are a secure, licensed and bonded, temperature controlled facility that maintains a constant 58 degrees.
Position Summary
The WineCo Inventory Clerk is responsible for all inventory movements within warehouse, maintaining lane locations and monthly inventory. Receive, verify and oversee the stocking of incoming inventory. Prepare documents related to receiving, unloading and stocking of inventory. This is a full time 40 hour per week, in person position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include
- Verify all incoming inventory and receive into WMS
- Replenish Pick Pack Locations
- Verify all inventory movements and assign lane locations and enter into WineCo.
- Responsible for conducting weekly cycle counts and completing inventories for all wineries.
- Coordinate movement requests with Warehouse Lead/Supervisor.
- Planning locations for inbound inventory.
- Pull Clubs.
- Checking stock status for order pullers.
- Provide assistance to customers by answering telephone/email inquiries regarding inventory as needed.
- Assist warehouse staff in maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Present to and receive information from department supervisors and management.
- May cross train to perform other duties.
- Provide assistance to warehouse staff locating wine in warehouse for orders as needed.
- Keep abreast of current policies and procedures to include safety guidelines.
- Able to provide effective and courteous customer service.
- Ability to make decisions in various situations and receive direction from supervisor in non-routine situations.
- Ability to use the software system to research on situations related to all customer service
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Physical Requirements Include
- Work is usually performed in an office, warehouse environment.
- Frequently required to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift Experience
- 5 years of Inventory/Shipping/Receiving
- Practical Experience in General Warehouse Operations
- Basic Reading, Writing and Mathematics skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of people, including customers and employees of the organization
- Skilled in safe and efficient operation of equipment and tools
