Directional Drill Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. This role involves operating various drilling equipment to ensure efficient and safe drilling operations, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

• Operate directional drilling equipment to perform horizontal drilling tasks.
• Experience with mini excavators and backhoe's a plus.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure that all drilling operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and inspect drilling equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.
• Assist in paving operations as required, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Document daily activities and report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience with horizontal drilling techniques and construction site practices.
• Valid class A driver's license, with clean driving record, mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to drilling operations and equipment maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
