Dispatch is a critical role to our success in keeping communication flowing for both the client and Team Member. This role offers a dynamic and engaging environment where Team Members can learn and grow while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
Dispatchers typically work 12-hour shifts and start at $23.00 per hour with a $1 raise after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period. The Day Dispatcher position has shifts Sundays-Tuesdays 5:00AM-5:15PM and Wednesdays 5:00AM-11:45AM.
Dispatchers will need to be able to answer calls from team members, clients, and residents with a smile. Dispatcher duties include: assisting in reviewing and releasing basic reports, problem solve and dispatch the appropriate daytime Patrol Officers to respond to a call/alarm, assist in making calls to team members to fill any open shifts. Dispatchers will need to make sure team members are performing radio status checks and be able to pass any information through the proper chain of command.

The Northwest Enforcement office is accessible by public transportation. However, having your own mode of transportation is recommended. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Wood Village area.

DPSST does require that you are at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma; a GED certificate; or a four-year, post-secondary degree issued by an accredited degree-granting college or university as well as the ability to read and write in English.
DPSST also requires that an FBI background check be passed as well as a drug test that complies with federal standards.
