Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide pest control services to homeowners, property managers, and businesses and use opportunities to obtain long-term clients through the sale of a regular service program. Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities to add new clients to route.
General Purposes:
Provide pest control services to clients.
Position Responsibilities
- Reports Directly to the Sales Director.
- Ensure all prior days sales have a agreement attached to the account in Pestpac.
- Ensure all sales related calls have a lead created and proposal given, regardless is a service was sold or not.
- Review each Service Advisors individual activity sheet (in TEAMS), create follow-ups for open leads, move open leads that have not been closed forward or close lost leads.
- Create Q/A appoints for services sold by I/S sales team
- Review and coach on Service Advisors phone calls/interactions with each individual Service Advisor.
- Assist with inbound sales calls when team is short staffed (help cover lunch, breaks, and PTO)
- Review ALL Podium promotors and send them the “thank you promotor” template in Pestpac.
- Cross train and provide back-up for the Field Sales Administrator
- Assist Sales Director with various projects/campaigns.
- Be knowledgeable and follow all State regulations and safety procedures.
- Take advantage of opportunities to sell additional Company products and services to existing customers and to recognize and report sales leads and opportunities to managers.
- Coordinate with other departments and technicians to insure completion and customer satisfaction.
- Attend required training meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 21 years old for vehicle insurance purposes
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer, and email skills.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment with good judgment and decision-making ability.
- Pest Control licensing and continued training-expert.
- Become a Certified Operator within 6 months of employment (Tucson).
- Complete Purdue University coursework or other seminars as assigned by your supervisor.
Preferred Skills
- Some prior pest control experience extremely beneficial.
- Prior customer service experience
Physical Requirements
- Physical ability to perform the work including bending, lifting, carrying 50 lbs of equipment, kneeling, crawling, entering confined spaces, and climbing ladders or scaffolds.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
- Requires dexterity and data entry skills.
- Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
- Expected to work 8am – 5pm daily, extended hours may apply during busier seasons or to accommodate customers.
- Must be prepared to be On-Call 4-5 weeks out of each calendar year as needed.
