Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior experience working in a customer service oriented role preferred.
- Ability to work weekends on a rotating basis required.
Position Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent customer service for all our customers. This includes taking incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, providing advice on pest control services, and making other recommendations. You must be able to quickly assess the situation and make decisions accordingly while always remaining professional. You must also have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a good working knowledge of our products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The primary role of a Billing Specialist is to establish pricing, schedule services, and collect payments for pre-treat and final grade pest control services. In this capacity, you would intake orders from builders, create new accounts for the builders, and then schedule technicians to complete the pre-treat and final grade pest control services. Once services are completed, the Billing Specialist will then be required to collect payments from builders, submit documentation to the state, and then audit the scheduled services to ensure they have been completed. If you have excellent computer skills, good problem-solving ability and superb communication and interpersonal skills, this is a position you may want to consider. The position requires a lot of time responding to emails, contact with builders over the phone, navigating builder websites, a good deal of patience, and the ability to multi-task.
General Purpose:
Provide customer service, billing, and administrative support to the organization in addition to existing and potential clients. Managing builder pay apps and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating intake orders for new builder service requests.
- Create and establish pricing for services by evaluating square footage for each service.
- Schedule technicians using Pest Pac to complete all services.
- Create and input renewal notices for each service account.
- Audit service completions through "releasing batches" (evaluating electronic service completion forms).
- Complete builder warranty forms and submit to builders via email if requested.
- Complete state TARF forms and submit to the state.
- Review emails and respond in a timely manner.
- Review voicemails daily and follow up as necessary.
- Ensure that missed pre-treat and final grade pest control services are rescheduled if necessary.
- Responsible for troubleshooting difficult situations and resolve issues quickly and efficiently with little or no supervision.
- Occasional high stress work may require dealing with customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Minimum 2 years customer support experience.
- High School diploma or GED required.
