Northwest Eye Clinic is an established Ophthalmology group in Bellingham that has been providing compassionate state-of-the-art care since 1952. We are looking for an optometric or ophthalmic assistant who wants to grow his/her career with a group of specialized ophthalmic surgeons.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional patient care and assist the physician with diagnostic testing, patient education, and administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • EMR experience, proper charting, and history taking.
  • Friendly, team-oriented individual who enjoys working with patients of all ages.
  • Ophthalmic assistant and technician skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Optometric or Ophthalmic: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Bellingham, WA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
