What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Loan Operations Specialist position at Northwest FCU?
Overview :
The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative and member service support to Commercial Relationship Managers, for both existing and prospective members. In addition, the Commercial Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for preparation and or / review of Commercial Loan documentation, disbursements of loan proceeds, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities :
- Provide member services solutions, act as liaison between departments coordinating member needs
- Provide assistance to co-workers with member inquires or problems. Ensure prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries
- Send wires, provide account reviews and general maintenance
- Order Appraisals, Environmental, Credit, Flood Certificates, and Title Reports, as needed
- Prepare and process documentation related to new, renewed, and modifications to commercial and real estate loans
- Coordinate with loan serving for funding to ensure all wires, fees, and payments have been processed
- Review, Create, File, and Terminate UCC-1 and UCC-3 Financing Statements. Follow up to ensure proper recordings of liens and continuations
- Conduct post-closing reviews and file management duties, post-closing file review, tracking, follow-up and exceptions items, maintenance of loan file, and document imaging
- Review and assist in processing renewals no later than 60 days from maturity date. Request from borrower financial statements, tax returns and any other financial as required by the loan documents and credit union
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
- Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
