Northwest Florida Community Hospital (NFCH), in Chipley, FL, is seeking a FT experienced, energetic and dedicated Medical Assistant or LPN to provide exceptional care for our patients in support with medical Providers and staff, in our Wound Care Institute!
General Summary :
A healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a licensed nurse practitioner, assisting with patient care by performing tasks like taking medical histories, conducting basic physical examinations, administering medications, educating patients, and coordinating care, all while operating within the scope of their specific training and state regulations.
Patient intake :
- Gathering patient information including medical history, current medications, and chief complaints
- Works collaboratively to provide quality patient care.
- Assisting in patient assessment.
- Referrals to the Registered Practitioner.
