What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech, Radiology, PRN position at Northwest Florida Community Hospital?
Performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Education:
Graduation from an AMA approved school of Ultrasound Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARDMS or Board eligible.
Current BCLS certification.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Specific experience and training in Ultrasound.
