The Associate Director for Student Success Navigation is directly accountable to the Executive Director - Student Success Navigation for the following duties and responsibilities.
The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carryout its mission.
- Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director of Student Success Navigation, provide direct managerial and supervisory support for student services at all campuses and distance centers.
- Supervise Student Success Navigation staff, including front desk personnel and operations.
- Provide sound, reliable academic, admissions, registration, and financial aid guidance for NWF students and prospective students.
- Participate in the development and training of new personnel.
- Build and maintain the day-to-day operational schedule for the office, including approval of leave, shift changes, and other requests related to the regular operations of the office.
- Assist in budget management as directed.
- Assist in international and athletic advising.
- With the Executive Director, conduct annual performance evaluations of office staff.
- Represent the office and/or department as directed on and off-campus.
- Respond to student, parent, and guest complaints as a mid-level supervisor.
- Advise the Executive Director of staff support needs, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- As a part of the college's risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
- Other student services-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant work experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Two (2) years of experience in an outreach/recruitment role required. Higher education outreach experience preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
- Large-scale event planning experience required.
- Budget management experience preferred.
- Experience using Banner records system preferred.
