By applying for this position, you will be joining the part-time pool for consideration as a prospective Computer IT, Helpdesk.
This position is data processing technical work installing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting networked (LAN/WAN) computer systems for use by end-users including the hardware, software, and communications components of networked systems. The primary duty of this position is to spend the majority of time performing these functions.
Classification: Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Location: Niceville Campus
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

- Assist in the configuration of networked computer systems with appropriate hardware, operating systems software, applications software, and communications components to deliver applications to local area network users.
- Provide end-user technical assistance.
- Perform related work as required.
- As a part of the college's risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of computers and software.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
