Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time, Nights Position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital
- Full time: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts
- Hours: 7p-7a
- Eligible for shift differential
- Eligible for health benefits, which can include your spouse and/or children
About this unit:
Northwest Health offers advanced Level III neonatal intensive carefor infants of any gestational age, providing specialized equipment needed to care for and stabilize high-risk newborns.
Our NICU features 14 individual, private rooms
This unit works closely withlabor and delivery (9 suites) and the obstetrics unit (2 operating rooms). This allows for newborns in need of specialized care to be cared for by a neonatologist 24 hours a day/7 days a week both during and following the delivery of high risk infants.
As a nurse on this unit you may provide care for any of the following:Premature infants of any gestation; Birth defects and genetic syndromes; Gastrointestinal disorders; Infections or sepsis; Kidney disorders; Respiratory disorders

Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
- ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
