Billing/Collections Specialist
Location: Northwest Human Services - West Salem Clinic
1233 Edgewater St. NW, Salem OR 97304
Job Status: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday -Friday
YOUR ROLE:
As a Billing/Collections Specialist you will monitor patients/family self-pay balances, contact patients regarding unpaid balances, and complete the collection process. You will also perform standard medical/dental billing functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
- Basic understanding of computers, file systems, and report logic.
- Communicate effectively and handle medical records in a confidential manner.
- Interact effectively and courteously with patients, staff, and insurance carrier representatives.
- Previous experience preferred.
