Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a BILINGUAL PROGRAM AIDE to work with our WIC and Immunizations Programs. Work location is in the Pender Central Office. 40 hours per week, M-F. Hourly wage plus benefits. Bilingual (English / Spanish) skill required.

JOB SUMMARY : The Bilingual Program Aide is responsible for helping the client in filling out necessary forms for program assistance. Assess household gross income and number in household. Explain the proper use of eWIC benefits and ID cards to participants and any other correspondence in a professional manner. Aid in translating when necessary for non-English speaking / reading participants. Refer clients as needed or requested. Quality control of daily office tasks and supply inventory. Submit reports and summaries by deadlines or as requested. Travel to assigned clinics as requested. Lifting up to and including 50 pounds. Routine cleaning of work site. Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Basic skills in word processing, email, and data entry. Bilingual (English / Spanish) skill required.
WAGE & BENEFITS : The starting wage is $18.50 per hour plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance.
