This Electric Utility Instructor position is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students at Northwest Iowa Community College. As an instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of our students.
- You will teach students about electrical theory, transformers, safety, utility equipment operation, underground/overhead high voltage electrical systems, and line maintenance.
- You will work closely with industry partners to ensure that our programs are relevant and up-to-date.
- You will have the opportunity to travel to on- and off-campus facilities, agencies, businesses, and other locations as needed.
The ideal candidate will have five years related work experience in the electrical field, including job supervision or management. A valid CDL license or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment is also required.
