Northwest Iron Fireman, Inc., a local family owned small business operating since 1971 and specializing in commercial heating and sales is currently seeking a sales & parts manager to join their team!
Position Summary:
This position is a local sales representative for North Dakota and NW Minnesota for multiple boiler manufacturing companies. Daily tasks will include meeting potential clients for sales and service needs, quoting and submitting bids for jobs, and managing the parts department.
Requirements:
- Experience in Heating Sales (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read and understand mechanical plans
- Able to drive a fork lift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., safely climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and oversee purchasing of boiler parts to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist customers in selecting appropriate products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate data entry and inventory control records.
- Review requests for quotes and bids and respond in a timely manner
- Assist the office manager in daily office tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
