The Manager of Information Technology Systems provides overall management and strategic leadership of the Information Technology System Services throughout the facility and affiliated service lines. Representing Information Systems, the Manager is responsible for facility-wide oversight of the medical lab testing processes and patient safety, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards associated with Information System Services and related processes, budgetary duties and fiscal performance of Information System Services, leadership of Information system team members, resource development and implementation of Information System process changes and establishment, measurement, reporting and audit of the Information System Services Performance Metrics. Also performs network, application, and PC technician duties.
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science or related field is required.
- Five (5) years' experience in healthcare Information Systems is required.
- Supervisory and/or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital and clinical department Information Systems policies and procedures is required.
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership abilities, and training program development/implementation.
- Possesses good oral and written communication and promotes systems application independence and compliance.
