What are the responsibilities and job description for the NwOESC Floating Teacher position at Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center (Nwoesc)?
DESCRIPTION: The floating teacher will travel to multiple locations as needed to assist with coverage of NwOESC teacher and paraprofessional. This teacher is an NwOESC employee. Work schedule will encompass the 2025-26 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Ohio State Board of Education Teaching License or Substitute Teaching license. One year temporary non-bachelor teaching licensure will be considered. Work experience with youth and/or adults with developmental disabilities, or work experience with youth in an educational setting is preferred.

EXPECTATIONS:
- Fill daily vacancies for NwOESC Intervention Specialists or Paraprofessionals as needed in NwOESC classrooms. Locations will vary daily and include preschool and k-12 classrooms.
- Supervise students and assist in classroom instruction and supports.
- Implement provided lesson plans, including behavior support plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.
LOCATIONS: Public schools in Defiance, Henry, Fulton, and Williams counties. This teacher will fill various openings for NwOESC teachers and paraprofessionals as needed and assigned.
CONTRACT: Per the 2025-26 school calendar
SALARY: per NwOESC salary schedule at Teacher Step 1, BA degree
BENEFITS: Paid sick leave and personal leave. Health, dental, vision and life insurance are available. Membership in State Teachers Retirement System.
