What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Itinerant Intervention Specialist (Full Time) position at Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center?
QUALIFICATIONS: Hold an Ohio State Board of Education Early Childhood Intervention Specialist PK-Grade 3; or be willing to obtain a supplemental license in this area. DESCRIPTION:
- Travel to provide services to students in private preschool and Head Start programs.
- Plan individual lessons to address IEP goals.
- Develop and maintain a structured learning environment that helps students who require an alternative approach to education.
- Stimulate student interest, enthusiasm, and inquisitiveness about subjects and events.
- Use the requisite information in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) to prepare and carry out educational activities including applicable daily living skill (e.g., personal hygiene, social recreational skills, employment, community life, etc.). Vary instructional techniques to address individual student needs.
LOCATION: The NwOESC serves students in Fulton, Henry, Williams, or Defiance Counties. The individual teacher's assignment is TBD.
CONTRACT: Per the applicable 2025-2026 school calendar

SALARY: Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience
