What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time/Part Time Dentist position at Northwest Oral Health?
Northwest Oral Health is growing! We have added two additional operatories in November and are seeking a full and part time dentist applicants to keep our chairs full! Schedule is 8 hours a day (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs). The full time position would be Monday thru Thursday, and part time positions would be flexible based on the day(s) you can work. This would be a great opportunity to pick up an extra day(s) working with a fantastic team. Our clinic opened in May 2016 and has grown to the point of needing an additional dentist(s). We are conveniently located on the West I-90 interchange in the Lakeshore Office Building on Dolarway Road. Benefits for full time include Medical, Malpractice, Dental, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, and annual retention bonus up to $25,000 per year. Part time benefits are negotiable based on the days/hours worked.
Dr. Brenden Davis holds a DMD degree from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and Masters of Public Health from AT Still University. Dr. Davis was the first Dental Director for Community Health of Central Washington in Ellensburg for 7 years before opening his own practice in 2016. In addition to his private practice, he also serves in the Washington National Guard as a State Dentist, and is the Programs Committee Chair for the ARCORA Foundation (https://arcorafoundation.org/). Dr. Davis lead the work group in conjunction with the Washington Health Care Authority which created the guidelines for Washington State's Teledentistry program. Dr. Davis has started various mobile dental programs throughout the state to serve rural, school-based, and nursing home patients in their own communities.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Administer dental treatments such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dentistry to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree
- Master of Public Health (MPH) preferred
- Proficiency in dental terminology and patient care
- Experience with dental extractions and prosthodontics
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Knowledge of dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Strong patient assessment skills and ability to work in a dental clinic environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $87.62 - $102.34 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
