Data Governance Analyst
Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Data Governance Analyst to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the cybersecurity industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data retention schedules, labeling, and governance frameworks , leveraging tools like BigID for data discovery and OneTrust for data mapping .
Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship.
What YOU will do :
- Develop, implement, and manage data retention schedules in alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Apply data labeling strategies to categorize and classify sensitive information effectively.
- Utilize BigID for data discovery , ensuring compliance with data privacy and security policies.
- Support OneTrust data mapping initiatives to track data flow and improve governance processes.
- Collaborate with compliance, security, and IT teams to enhance data governance policies.
- Monitor data lifecycle management and recommend improvements for data integrity and protection.
- Assist in audits and regulatory reporting by providing insights into data governance practices.
