Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the manufacturing industry to hire an experienced full-time Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a highly skilled engineering team while aligning efforts with company objectives and goals.
What YOU will do:
- Lead and coordinate engineering functions including quality assurance, testing, production, and research and development using lean manufacturing principles.
- Act as a liaison between customer service, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure clear communication of specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
- Manage multiple projects as a project manager, creating timelines, cost projections, and organizing collaborative meetings.
- Prepare and execute departmental budgets.
- Support research and development initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and technologies to enhance product lines and improve production efficiency.
- Supervise and guide the engineering team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and day-to-day workflow.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
