Senior Software Engineer (Privacy and Security)

Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Privacy) to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the Social Media industry.

Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship.

What YOU will do

• Develop robust privacy detection methods to continuously assess and monitor for gaps in the organization's privacy posture.
• Assist in privacy-related incident response efforts, including technical investigations of privacy incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending mitigation and remediation actions.
• Stay up-to-date with global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ensure organizational practices comply with relevant privacy laws and standards.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, development, and product teams to incorporate privacy best practices into new products and features.
• Advocate for "privacy by design" principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain detailed documentation of privacy assessments, testing, and related activities.
• Generate regular reports for management, providing insights into privacy risks and mitigation strategies.
