About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator is a support role in our Logistics Department that works with their Construction Coordinator to manage and support projects throughout their territories include overseeing every non-installation order from entry to delivery and they serve as each customer’s primary point of contact for these orders. This role also works in tandem with their Construction Coordinators by supporting every construction project in their territory including coordinating shipping to meet project schedule deadlines, tracking shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery, and resolving any shipping or delivery issues. The Logistics Coordinator works closely with suppliers and carriers to optimize costs and schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Procurement of Equipment
- Order Entry: Responsible for submitting all non-installation orders for, equipment, materials, and safety surfacing orders through accounting software.
- Purchase Orders: Creating and submitting purchase orders to manufacturers.
- Manage Orders: Monitor order progress with tracking sheet.
- Reviews: Review orders for accuracy and confirm order details including shipment information.
- Notifications: Update sales of order submissions and customers with schedule and once orders ship.
- Logistics: Manage shared inbox updating coordinators of their project information and notifications.
- Reporting: File all paperwork in project files for records.
- Warranties: Submit warranty requests and reimbursements to manufacturers.
- Submit L&I intents & affidavits for surfacing only projects.
- Monitor and manage install project equipment delivery logistics for designated territory.
- Manage & schedule safety surfacing project includes confirming all necessary information on site readiness: Site Photos, Base Information, Layout Plan, Rendering / Design.
- Directly communicate and coordinate with customers on ship date, delivery date, and installation date.
- Be the direct contact for any surfacing installation questions.
- Help solve problems onsite with installers
- Submit closeout documents to customers for surfacing projects including L&I paperwork, warranties & completion documentation
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant construction and/or procurement experience.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, growing organization, with a willingness to learn and adapt to change.
- Have great organizational and multi-tasking skills and a quick Learner.
- Detailed Oriented and highly accurate.
- Has excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude that helps build relationships.
- Is a proven self-starter.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer focused.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial software applications.
- Experience with Acumatica and QuickBooks would be highly advantageous.
Working Hours
- 8:00a-5:00p, Monday - Friday plus overtime as needed
- This position works onsite out of the Issaquah office.
- Remote 1-day/week following 90-day Introductory Period
Salary
- $22.00-$28.00 per hour
