VACANCY RUTLAND NORTHWEST PRIMARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL - (GRADES K-2) We seek a dynamic, diligent, creative, student-oriented, experienced leader who will provide excellent leadership for the Rutland Northwest Primary School. The school includes approximately 200 students in grades K-2 and 55 professional and support staff. The school is supported by a very active parent and volunteer community. Background and experience in early education, early reading and literacy, supervision and evaluation, Responsive Classroom and restorative practices, PBIS, Professional Learning Communities, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), data-based decision making, differentiated instruction and brain-based learning, and the integration of technology into daily practice, will be qualities of the successful candidate. Outstanding communication skills and a sincere interest in the success of students and families are a must. We are seeking an experienced leader to join our strong and collegial leadership team. Master’s degree, 5 years of leadership experience, and licensure as a Vermont Principal are required. The position commences July 1, 2025.
