Duties and Responsibilities
· Type correspondence, memoranda, forms, reports, and other materials as needed
· Create new files and file paid invoices. Create new files and file general accounting paperwork
· Receive and pay accounts for specific PHA’s. Duties shall include but are not limited to: verifying invoices, classifying expenditures, preparing payment verifications, posting checks to registers, balancing bank statements.
· Cross-train in all aspects of the accounts payable system: For all managed properties and housing authority programs verify invoices, classify expenditures, prepare payment vouchers, post check disbursement journal, and balance bank statements. Use the ACH payment procedure to produce Section 8 Voucher payments
· Prepare financial reports as needed for Rural Development, HUD, Arkansas Development Finance Authority, syndicators, general and limited partners, NWRHA Board of Commissioners, etc.
· Other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
