Machine Operator - Labeler

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating label machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines. This role requires a basic understanding of mechanics and usage of hand tools.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
• Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, to ensure product specifications are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Package finished products according to company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Operate and monitor labeling machinery to ensure efficient production flow.
• Apply labels to products in accordance with company standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks to verify label accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Familiarity with tooling and setup procedures for various types of machinery.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred..
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of labeling machinery is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
