Position: Apprentice Sign Installer
Northwest Sign & Design has an immediate opening for an Apprentice Sign Installer. In this role the Apprentice will be learning from and training under a Journeymen Electrician/Sign Installer.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the installation of all types of signage including but not limited to illuminated, non-illuminated, monument, and wayfinding using a variety of equipment including power tools, bucket trucks, ladders, and lifts.
- Must be able to perform labor-intensive work, including loading finished product for delivery, lifting up to 60 lbs., climbing ladders, digging and moving materials.
- Assisting Journeymen in managing truck inventory to ensure it is properly stocked before leaving the shop.
- Assisting Journeymen in performing site surveys.
- Reading and working to plans, communicating any discrepancies to the appropriate person.
- Must be able to work well under timelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience or basic knowledge of commercial electrical and basic construction practices preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to learn to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Some familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools preferred.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, with both internal and external customers.
- General construction knowledge preferred.
- Have clean driving record with ability to acquire and maintain a class B CDL. Training paid for by the company.
- Ability to earn and acquire a crane card. Training is paid for by the company.
- Ability to earn and acquire a rigging card. Training is paid for by the company.
- Ability to earn and acquire a 04 Electrical license. Training is paid for by the company.

Environment and/or Physical Factors:
· Working inside and outdoors in all conditions.
· Comfortable working at heights on ladders, rooftops, and in lift buckets.
